If you want to know anything about our lessons you can WhatsApp us on 07707 863277, you can email us at info@happyfins.co.uk or you can click the link on the website home page. Depending on your availability and lesson type we can give you information on the cost of lessons.

What ages and level of experience do you cater for?

We teach Adult and Child lessons from 3 months to 3 years. Our main award scheme can be started as young as 2 depending on experience and confidence.

How do I know which level to start my child at?

Contact our friendly team via WhatsApp: 07707863277 or Email: info@happyfins.co.uk. They will chat to you about your swimmers experience with water and be able to confirm what level your child should start at.

What award scheme do you follow?

We have a bespoke award scheme that suits the fact that we teach in the water without flotation devices. All of our teachers hold a Level 2 STA qualification. We are most closely aligned wit STA’s swim programmes however we have adapted this for in water, small ratio teaching.

How do I Cancel out of a lesson?

We have a courtesy class system which can be accessed via our parent portal: swim.happyfins.co.uk. Here you will be able to book out of a class with at least 24 hours notice. Then you will be allocated a courtesy class which is valid for 6 months from date of issue to use in a suitable replacement class (subject to availability), also found via the parent portal.

If you have any issues with this please contact our friendly team via WhatsApp: 07707 863277 or Email: info@happyfins.co.uk.

How many weeks of the year do lessons run?

We run 42 weeks a year, closing for Easter, Christmas and Summer Holidays. Our 2024 term dates are as follows and all inclusive: we DO run lessons on bank holidays and half terms:

8th Jan - 28th March

12th April - 21st July

2nd September - 22nd December

Why do I need to give 30 days notice?

Due to the popularity of our lessons this gives us 30 days to find a suitable replacement for your spot.

How long do lessons last?

Our lessons are all 30 minutes long and weekly, 42 weeks of the year.

What makes your 1:1/2:1 lessons worth it?

Small class sizes and teachers in the water make our lessons cost efficient, we find that children learn more quickly and are much more confident and happy in the water than having had lessons in a bigger group and using buoyancy aids.

Learning without buoyancy aids from the very beginning means that we don’t have to spend valuable time re-teaching children how to swim without them. Not only that but we are teaching them how to be truly safe in water right from their first splash.

This is because every lesson is tailored to your child’s needs, even if they are in a 2:1, the lesson and partner that they have been given has been tailored to them by our knowledgeable team.
